Welcome to a Whimsical World of    Joyful Expression

Art isn’t just about what we see —                   it’s about what we feel, what we overcome, and how we find magic in the everyday.

You, the dreamer, the seeker of beauty and meaning, are at the heart of my art. Whether you're looking for a piece that sparks joy, soothes your soul, or helps you see a bit of yourself in its colors and textures, I create with you in mind.

I’m a mixed media artist based in Central Virginia, sharing my work locally at Canal Quarter Arts in Fredericksburg, VA. My world is one of watercolors, acrylics, and an ever-growing collection of materials that help bring imagination to life—on canvas, paper, and even in sculptural form.

But art, for me, is more than creating something beautiful.

It’s about expression, resilience, and the way creativity helps us navigate life’s twists and turns. As a two-time heart survivor and a stroke survivor, I’ve found that art has been a source of healing and connection, a way to bring light even in the most challenging times...                                                         I hope my work does the same for you.

Inspired by the miniature wonders of the world:

—the way light dances on leaves, the hidden details in nature

—I weave warm colors, storybook charm, and a touch of magic into every piece.

My work embodies joy, whimsy, kindness, and the beauty of self-discovery.

So, take a moment. Breathe in the colors, the textures, the stories. Let my art remind you of the magic that already exists in your own life.

Welcome to a place where creativity meets heart. I’m so glad you’re here.

Meet El Gatos, ECO (Executive Cat Officer) of   Miniature Details LLC

Every great studio needs a little extra magic behind the scenes, and El Gatos is just the cat for the job. As our resident supervisor, he takes his role very seriously—overseeing the shipping process, greeting the mailman, and keeping a watchful eye on every brushstroke. No piece of art or supply enters the studio without his stamp of approval.

Beyond quality control, El Gatos is also our official nature correspondent, alerting us whenever our feathered friends arrive at the feeder. He’s a social media sensation, always ready for a selfie, and as head of the Employee Rights Commission, he enforces a strict policy of two naps a day and an ample supply of treats for all.

Alongside my wonderfully supportive husband and two boys, El Gatos plays a pivotal role in keeping this creative space filled with joy (and the occasional cat hair).

P.S. YES! He absolutely loves fan mail!
